Spend Some Time With Your Kids, Getting Physical

Too often, you hear that families are too busy to spend time together. And mom and dad are always too busy to hit the gym. Thanks to the lure of the screen, kids are often too busy playing video games or watching TV to get outdoors. And with busy schedules, the only family time may be spent in front of the TV—or sometimes multiple TVs, in separate rooms. Studies have shown that spending time as a family is a key component of good mental health for kids. And physical activity is part of a healthy lifestyle for family members of all ages. But finding time for family fitness is a great way to fit a little of both family time and physical activity into any schedule.
