The cornerstone of my practice is hormone therapy, which focuses on the major sex hormones, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone for men and women. When design hormone therapy plans, I tell all of my patients that hormones are only one aspect of many in maintaining health. The foundation for good health is built through nutrition. There thousands of diet and nutrition books on the market, each with their own little quirk about what, when, and how to eat. I’ll provide my perspective on all of this over the coming weeks, but to start, let’s keep it simple. You first need to know what to eat. Follow these rules when selecting your food, and you will be on the road to improving or maintaining health and possibly, losing weight.

Eat Healthy Protein
Eat Complex Carbohydrates
Eat Healthy Fats
Avoid Processed Foods
Don’t eat too much
