Dr. Joseph Mazzei started his journey in medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. Through experience and continual study, Dr. Mazzei has refined his medical perspective. He applies a comprehensive, functional medicine approach in accordance with solid medical research to support the foundational pillars of health. The goal of treatment is to achieve efficient and optimal function of the entire body. Dr. Mazzei applies his expertise in nutrition, hormone therapy, gastrointestinal function, immune function and cellular health to pursue this goal. Dr. Mazzei received her Bachelor’s degree with Northwestern University and her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Mazzei believes that everyone is capable of change, especially when empowered and supported to reach one’s goals. She works collaboratively with patients to relieve emotional distress, to increase insight and resiliency, and to help facilitate positive life changes and personal growth.
